Tasty:
My inspiration was that I really wanted to do something I knew I could succeed at. So that was what I was looking for when I was brainstorming what to draw.
I first brainstormed ideas. The I did my 4 sketches and then sketched it on my final. I went over it with pen and ink. Last, I added details to it.
My inspiration for this piece was to show how important the eyes are to a portrait. If you make everything but the eyes look realistic, it will mess up your whole drawing. It is so important to use the correct technique for them.
To create this piece, I used a grid to make sure my proportions were correct. I also used shading to make the contour on her cheekbone look right. I also used dark and light values.
Think:
My inspiration was that an electric guitar is a mechanical object and I really like guitars.
The process was that I first found what my subject matter would be. Then I sketched it out on four sketches. I picked the sketch I liked the most. Whenever I finally did that, I got my final paper and first sketched it out on there. Contrast bringing out more details.
The Sound
of Music:
My inspiration was that I love going to the beach all of the time because it is fun and beautiful.
The process was I first worked on my 4 sketches. The picked a canvas and sketched it out on there. The a painted the background then the foreground and then added layers until it looked really good.
A Day at
the Beach:
My inspiration for this piece was I saw it and thought it was beautiful. So I wanted to recreate it. When i recreated it I added a few details in it to make it my own.
First, I drew four sketches. Then, out of those four sketches I picked out which one I liked the best and practiced it on a new sheet of paper. Then I got my final paper and I colored it with my oil pastels and tried to make everything look amazing.
Cherries on
a Summer Day:
My inspiration is that I really wanted to do a fall themed piece. I wanted to do this because I really love fall. It is my favorite time of year and I think it is so beautiful.
The process was first I had to sketch it out. Then I had to do my wash and background. Third, I had to paint my tree and my other fore-ground things. Then I had to paint my mid-ground details. Lastly, I tried to fix things.
A Fall
Sunset:
My inspiration was a news article I saw on a football player telling everyone how he feels like no one sees who hes truly is inside.
The process I did was I first found my news article. Then I picked my media. I sketched my idea out of how to convey the metaphor to the viewers and finally, I painted my final.
Football
My inspiration for this piece was the fact that I knew i wanted to create something that made others think.
The process was I brainstormed ideas, and finally I decided on one, sketched it and then got my oil pastels and created it.
Heart on
my Mind:
My inspiration was I wanted to do graffiti but in someway make it creative and my own. Because I know most graffiti is somehow unique.
The process was i sketched it out. I decided I didn't like any of those so insead I did one sketch of something I truly liked. Then i used colored pencils for the colors.
